ATP Rome Masters 1000 Announces Two-Week Format for 2023

Rome Tournament Expands to Join Shanghai and Madrid in Extended Format

Beginning in 2023, the ATP Rome Masters 1000 Tournament will be extended to a two-week format, aligning with the tournaments in Shanghai and Madrid.

The ATP Masters 1000 event in Rome, along with those in Shanghai and Madrid, will now be held over two weeks starting in 2023, becoming the latest tournaments to adopt the extended format.

The Internazionali BNL d'Italia, also known as the Rome Masters, is a historic tennis tournament held annually in Rome, Italy, and is part of the ATP Tour calendar. The tournament will join the ranks of the Shanghai Masters and the Madrid Open, which have already implemented the two-week format.

With this change, the ATP Rome Masters 1000 will provide a longer and more comprehensive experience for players and fans alike, allowing for more matches and potential upsets.
